ARRMA 1/10 VORTEKS 223S DSC 2WD RTR RC Stadium Truck Overview
You can have everything you want in a brushless stadium truck with the 1/10 scale ARRMA VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD. Straight out of the box, it offers ready-to-run simplicity, attitude-packed styling, the toughness to take hits, and the power to keep going faster as your driving skills grow. Ready for 2S or 3S power, this basher delivers premium performance — at a price you can afford.
ARRMA developed the 223S series especially for newcomers to brushless bashing who want to progress from 2S to 3S power without adding upgrades or buying a new vehicle. With the VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD, you can start with a 2S LiPo for 35+ mph top speeds that match or beat the best that other manufacturers’ 2S bashers can do. Then, whenever you’re ready, move up to a 3S battery for pro-level 50+ mph bashing.
You can control how fast your VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD goes not only through your battery choice but also by where you set the throttle limiter on its included Spektrum SLT2 radio. With throttle limiting, the SLT2 radio automatically limits top speed to a comfortable level until you’re ready for it all. Set the throttle limiting switch to 50% or 75% and you’ll never have to worry about going faster than you can safely manage. Make the transition from 2S to 3S speeds with total confidence.
The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) built into the stadium truck’s Spektrum electronics offers another big advantage. With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically correct steering input as needed to improve your control, confidence, and safety, whether you’re bashing on high-grip or low-grip surfaces. As you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and succeed with the skills you’ve learned.
With its ideal combination of stability and agility, you can bash the VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD stadium truck in almost any environment — off-road, on dirt and grass, in parking lots and over paved and asphalt surfaces. Its wide stance improves control at any speed. Take advantage of the easy handling to learn lines and precision driving techniques while carving turns without slowing down.
The stadium truck’s durable composite chassis features oil-filled shocks, metal geared differentials, and more for impressive durability. Its high-quality, factory-installed Spektrum electronics are waterproof for worry-free bashing in any conditions. High-traction, multi-surface dBoots tires on tough multi-spoke wheels add to the unstoppable performance. Topping it all off is a sleek stadium truck body with tough, injection-molded wing and protective roof skids.
If you’re a stadium truck enthusiast who’s ready to try brushless bashing, look no further than the 1/10 scale ARRMA VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD. Just add your choice of battery and charger. Then take your bashing skills to the next level!

2S & 3S READY
Don’t compromise on performance by limiting your choices between a 2S or 3S capable basher. The VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD stadium truck comes ready for both! Start with a 2S LiPo for powerful performance that matches or beats the best that other manufacturers’ 2S bashers can do. When ready, install a 3S battery for amped-up, pro-level 50+ mph bashing. The included SLT2 radio can automatically limit top speed to a comfortable level until you’re ready for it all.
DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)
Another feature that makes the VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD ideal for new brushless drivers is the Spektrum electronics’ Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically apply steering corrections to improve your control, confidence, and safety, whether you’re bashing on high- or low-grip surfaces. As you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and succeed with the skills you’ve learned.
SPEKTRUM 2.4GHz SLT2 TRANSMITTER
The high-quality Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter is perfectly equipped for all drivers. Whether you’re using 2S or 3S power, it can help you develop control skills safely by limiting the stadium truck’s maximum available speed to 50% or 75% until you’re ready for it all. Four AA batteries are included.
SUPER TOUGH TRANSMISSION
Factory assembled and installed, the heavy-duty, metal gear differential sends power from the Spektrum 3660 4000Kv brushless motor to the rear wheels for blasting through challenging terrain. The entire power system is well-protected for dependable performance on all terrain.
SPEKTRUM ELECTRONICS
Bash without worry, even in wet conditions. The Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 45A brushless 2S/3S ESC and receiver unit and the Spektrum S681 metal-geared digital steering servo are both waterproof. (For details on waterproof standards, refer to the VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD instruction manual.)
BOTTOM LOADING BATTERY TRAY
Time to change batteries? No need to remove the body or fuss with clips. Just push on the latches, open the door, and plug in a fresh pack. You’re quickly back to having fun!
STRONG SPINE COMPOSITE CHASSIS
The durability of its composite chassis lets you send your VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD over punishing terrain with confidence. The simple spine design won’t collect dirt, rocks, and mud. It stays clean and lightweight, which means more power!
ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The all-terrain independent suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. If your bashing takes you over uneven surfaces, you can adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance.
STADIUM TRUCK BODY
Adding to its exciting realism, the VORTEKS 223S BLX 2WD stadium truck body is securely held in place by a hidden clipless body retention system. The body doesn’t have to come off to change the battery, but it’s easy to remove if you need to access the on-board electronics.
